I am a fifth-year PhD candidate in Economics and Education at Teachers College, Columbia University and a 2025–26 job market candidate in the economics of education. In January 2024, I completed a stint serving in the Biden Administration as a Senior Advisor in the U.S. Department of Education’s Office of the Chief Economist. My research focuses on the economics of education, especially the design and evaluation of policies promoting college access and success, and my policy expertise lies in student loans and institutional accountability.
